Shackleton celebrates a year of unprecedented success
08 Nov 2013 ·
Rapid growth, staff recruitment and major client wins are enabling Leeds-based PR and social media agency, Shackleton PR, to celebrate a hugely successful 1st birthday in style.
On course to significantly exceed its year-one revenue targets, Shackleton has grown its team of PR and social media professionals to seven and established an international client base.
The agency, part of award-winning search marketing business, the Epiphany Group, was launched in late 2012. It has since delivered campaigns for a number of high-profile clients, including online payment service, Ukash, leading travel website On the Beach and global shopping cost comparison site, PriceSpy.co.uk.
Robin Skidmore, CEO and founder of Shackleton PR, commented: "The terrific strides this business has made in just 12 months are staggering. When we launched, we never imagined that we could achieve this level of success in such a short space of time.
"I’d like to take this opportunity to pay a massive thanks to the wider team and for the support from our clients in helping us get Shackleton to the level it is now. Here’s to another amazing year!"
Chris Hughes, Head of PR and Social Media at Shackleton, said: "In addition to working with some of the best clients and brands in the country, our other major achievement has to be the talented team we’ve managed to assemble. The agency can draw on a fantastic mix of social media, journalism, PR and digital expertise - something we can be very proud of!"
